I would have liked to change my Acount Email but it does not seem to accept changing the account’s primary log in. Any help here?

Thanks, I already set privacy to ’only people logged in’
Right, select ’messages from friends only’ in addition means people would first need to request friendship before they can send a message. Cool!

For the first time I am receiving what looks like copy and paste pre-set messages of girls seeking contact with an email address and promise of photo. Is there no way to block/filter this out? I don’t mind deleting spam, as long as it does not become too much of a hassle.

Go to My Account, Privacy, Messaging Privacy, and select the ’receive messages from friends only’ option. That should help, unless you befriend spammers first ;)

Thanks a lot, glad to see it’s there and makes is easier to connect with people with same or similar interests. Wouldn’t worry too much about making it more visible. Got to look around better and click to find out…

That is in the left menu under ”Profile” when you are on yours or someone else’s page. I suppose I will work to make it more visible.

Hi Chris, have to get used to this new Metro Community interface, but I like it. Anyway, thanks for clarifying. I would have to put Flemish as my mother tongue but as I haven’t spoken it daily for good 30 years, well, and then I don’t even like the language… But it is good to promote diversity, nature seems to work best that way.

In reply to - Chris Wilson wrote on their own wire:
Gerrit, I put down Cornish as my main language because all minority languages need promoting. I am a Cornish speaker, but it is not in fact my main language.
