It seems that you can never have too many Italian joints in Ebisu—or at least, that’s the philosophy that Buona Italia appears to be following. The company behind local lynchpins Delicioso Italia, Vacanza and Bar de Boo recently added a new member to its family… also in Ebisu. Bar and osteria Oggi (4-9-5 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku; www.buona-italia.jp) serves up traditional dishes like Napolitan-style pasta (¥1,764) and crostini topped with a variety of sauces, including gorgonzola and margherita (¥714). The extensive wine list is sourced entirely from Italy, with bottles starting at a reasonable ¥2,900, while by-the-glass vintages are offered on a daily rotating basis (from ¥800).
