If you thought the season for eating ice cream had passed, think again: Cold Stone Creamery (www.coldstonecreamery.co.jp) has just unveiled something called a Hot Waffle. These bite-sized treats (¥540) feature fresh baked waffles stuffed with apple or banana, topped with ice cream. Next up from the über-popular Cold Stone chain are new ice cream flavors like the Blessing Apple Brulée, a mix of custard ice cream, apple, caramel chips and whipped cream, and the Winter Mille-Feuille Wishes, which includes “double strawberries” and pie crust (¥480-¥930). Available November 20.
