Fans of lip-smacking comfort food will want to chow down on brunch at Good Honest Grub (2-20-8 Higashi, Shibuya-ku, www.goodhonestgrub.com) during the upcoming “Silver Week” holiday period from September 19-23. Available each day from 10:30am until 4pm (LO), the brunch includes oatmeal pancakes with Canadian maple syrup, a variety of omelets, vegetarian baked beans on toast and “the best eggs Benedict in town” (from ¥1,300). Everything on the menu is made from scratch, with organic vegetables from the restaurant’s own farm in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture. GHG has also begun selling its homemade salad dressings, cookies and cakes through its website.
