This just in: the folks at brew-pub T.Y. Harbor in Shinagawa are taking a break from their popular Fourth of July BBQ. The event has become increasingly popular in recent years, but this time around, Independence Day revelers will have to seek their fun elsewhere. But not to worry: T.Y. Harbor (2-1-3 Higashi-Shinagawa; www.tyharborbrewing.co.jp) will be open the rest of the summer with its best-in-Tokyo beer lineup and sumptuous American cuisine from acclaimed chef David Chiddo. Foodies will also want to check out newly opened Breadworks, a bakery-cafe located right next door. On the menu are breads, pastries, cakes and sandwiches, served up in a casual atmosphere.
