The author of last year’s highly acclaimed true-crime chronicle Tokyo Vice leads a discussion about the scourge of human trafficking in a fundraising event in Marunouchi next week. For An Evening with Jake Adelstein, the writer is joined by representatives of Polaris Project, a US-based NPO that combats human trafficking through advocacy work, outreach and education. The event starts with a reception and light buffet at 7pm, with proceeds from the ¥5,000 entry fee benefitting Polaris Japan projects.
