Tedious Pulp Fiction rip-off that never leaves the diner scene. Fractured timeline, lots of people die violent deaths, some repeatedly, and the pseudo-cool dialogue is inane. Then there’s the inexplicable participation in this largely ignored DVD event of a slumming Forrest Whitaker trying on three different accents. Bruce Willis chews the scenery as a demented crime boss, but after this laughably horrid performance, I’m not sure the word “slumming” applies to him. Round out the poster with Malin Akerman, a brand new Sharon Stone, and you have a film you should probably miss twice.
