Gallowwalkers

Gruesome and almost unwatchable

In your basic supernatural western rape-revenge demonic horror splatter movie, Wesley Snipes plays a strong-and-silent gunfighter of mystical repute who’s understandably frustrated because the bad guys he shoots keep coming back to life and stuff. Revenge is sooo much harder when that happens. The alleged plot is impossibly convoluted. There’s severed heads; a lot of tension-free, quick-draw gunfights; and several of the characters, um, don’t have any skin. Children, this is a gruesome, almost unwatchable example of the kind of thing actors who don’t pay their taxes have to do. (90 min)
