Overlong, extremely violent and just plain ugly

This has been called a “redneck Pulp Fiction,” but that implies wit and talent. Comprises three wildly disparate yet intersecting southern-fried vignettes. The first involves bickering, strung-out meth heads (incl. Paul Walker) that, rather unsurprisingly, blow themselves up. The second has Matt Dillon viciously rescuing his abducted wife from a twisted “collector,” played by Elijah Wood. This is nothing but torture porn. The third is the pathetic story of an Elvis impersonator (Brendan Fraser) who makes a deal with the Devil. Overlong, extremely violent and just plain ugly. Skip it twice, y’all. (112 min
