Cookie-cutter brain-eater

Okay, there are good zombie movies (28 Days Later, Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead and of course the George Romero prototypes). But there also seems to be an endless and regular supply of cookie-cutter brain-eaters that are only watched by subteen lads, drunk frat boys and, of course, long-suffering film critics. This latest horror-free waste of time was adapted by Chiller TV from a graphic novel (comic book) by Steve Niles. An unlikable band of whiny, bickering survivors is holed up in a Reno casino after a nuclear accident has turned the rest of the world’s population into the undead. Big snore.
