The title defendant, of course, made starting in 1977 the original three Star Wars movies (episodes 4-6), for which legions of fanboys referred to him as “The Creator.” This pop-deification, however, was shaken with the release of the three subpar prequels (1-3), and Lucas’s downright sacrilegious re-mastering of the first film made them howl like wounded Wookiees. Complainers, they were. This is an exhaustive airing of these grating geek gripes and grievances, some of them quite hilarious. (Could The Phantom Menace actually suck? Impossible!).
