We’re the Millers

Not much in terms originality or surprises, but good for a few yucks

Happy pot dealer (Jason Sudeikis) gets his inventory ripped off, and to atone (and avoid death) he must mule in “a smidge” of weed from Mexico. Realizing that dorky families in RVs rarely get hassled at the border, he recruits a stripper (Jennifer Anniston, fine at 44) to be mom, along with a street girl and a neglected teenage neighbor kid, to be the title decoy family. Of course they inevitably bond, etc. In terms of originality or surprises, this one is all seeds and stems. But probably due to low expectations, I had a few good yucks. Hardly a recommendation, but I’ve sat through far worse. (110 min)
