Trying to stem a zombie apocalypse

A United Nations troubleshooter globetrots from South Korea to Israel to Wales, trying to stem a global zombie apocalypse (the undead here are of the faster, cooler, 28 Days Later variety). The storyline, arranged in episodes, is scattershot but contextually realistic (how would the world react to such an outbreak?), but the truncated ending is jarring. Like they ran out of film. Some visually arresting and coherently executed set pieces effectively add suspense to the thrill-ride, but at the end of the day this is just a passable if smarter-than-average zombie flick that happens to star Brad Pitt.
