October has been generous to action gamers here in Japan. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Brütal Legend, Uncharted 2, Bayonetta and Borderlands all made their debuts and, taken together, offer thrills for just about everyone. Yet November is also looking set to be a spectacular month, with the hugely anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sequel finally dropping on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 on November 10. If you’re one of them hippies that don’t dig killing people with assault weapons, Left 4 Dead 2 replaces terrorists with zombies on November 17. Coming out the same day, Assassin’s Creed 2 switches it up with rapier-wielding medieval aristocrats. My fellow RPG nerds will want to be on the lookout for the Persona 3 PSP remake released on November 1, and Bioware’s latest dish, Dragon Age: Origins, coming on the 17th.
